Dear parents and students,
Thank you for your interest in Fulbright College, Rome. Our school is diverse and dynamic, welcoming families every year from all over the world. We understand the challenges and opportunities of making an international move as well as the questions that arise when moving a child from one national curriculum to another.
For families coming from all over the world or from other international schools, our classrooms here will feel familiar and friendly, and you’ll have the chance to see just how effectively “new kids” settle in and become “old hands.” You’ll also understand how lucky we are to be located in Rome, and why we work so hard to bring an international perspective into our curriculum, both in and outside the classroom.
We look forward to answering your questions, helping you with your transition, talking you through the admissions process and enabling you to become better acquainted with our school and its exciting and challenging program.
Sincerely,
Dean of Admissions
How to apply
Even though we accept applications throughout the year, we would like to remind families that it is important to apply early to increase your chances of a place.
Entry to Fulbright College is based on:
- Cognitive assessment for senior school pupils only
- Last school reports. Please bring the reports with you to interview
- A meeting with the dean of admissions, whenever possible
For those who live abroad it is not always feasible to have an interview with the dean of admissions, therefore the assessments and reports become extremely important. The assessment can only be taken at a place designated by Fulbright College.
Please note that taking the assessment does not mean that children are automatically enrolled at Fulbright College; if they pass their assessment, they are placed on waiting lists. The dean of admissions offers places in grade groups as and when these become available, and, when grade groups are full, offers are not made until March/April after re-registration has been carried out for current students and we know who is leaving.
Please find the Age Groups with their corresponding Grade Groups below. Please note that it is not the policy of Fulbright College to allow children to enter a grade group above their age.
