Middle School

Transitioning from elementary school to middle school can be tough. Middle school, which comprises grades 6, 7 and 8, isn’t just a school with a new name between the elementary and high school. Middle schools recognize and address adolescents’ developmental diversity. Elements of students’ learning and socialization needs are new additions meant to ensure some degree of success for all learners.

Good middle schools provide 11 to 14 year-olds with educational experiences that emphasize the instruction and overall well-being of learners. In turn, students know educators value academic achievement and appropriate behaviors.

At Fulbright College, we do not downplay academic achievement and appropriate behavior. Quite the contrary, teachers and administrators emphasize these fundamental aspects of education, but we also provide learning experiences that meet individual needs.

We believe students should always have clear expectations for academic achievement and appropriate behavior. Fulbright College recognizes learner diversity, provides professionally trained educators, ensures learners have opportunities to explore curricular areas, offers responsive guidance and counseling programs, ensures equal access, instills positive classrooms and schools, and involves parents and families in the educational process. At Fulbright College, we are providing more than just educational experiences – we are preparing young people to be well-adjusted adults.
